Recorded at 7.7km in 1hr 11mins or 8.8km for front runners<strong>\u00a0APITW<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Soft Rock<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not to be outdone by last week\u2019s hares\u00a0<strong>Grizzly<\/strong>\u00a0preceded the circle with hors d\u2019oeuvres of Pork Dumplings and Whiskey!<\/p>\n<p>At the circle GM\u00a0<strong>Pitt<\/strong>\u00a0called up\u00a0<strong>Skippy<\/strong>\u00a0(returnee<em> (and as of this solstice a newly joined member)<\/em>);\u00a0<strong>Chunder<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>54 year<\/em> anniversary);<strong>\u00a0Polly<\/strong>\u00a0(birthday). RA\u00a0<strong>Moses<\/strong>\u00a0called up himself and\u00a0<strong>Colonel\u00a0<\/strong>(acknowledging Geelong\u2019s defeat to the Dockers).\u00a0<strong>Polly<\/strong>\u00a0told the Joke about a student outwitting his professor to get an A.\u00a0<strong>Bushie<\/strong>\u00a0noted several irregularities in\u00a0<strong>Grizzly<\/strong>\u2019s run setting \u2013 who need signs?\u00a0<strong>Action<\/strong>\u00a0gave the run a mostly favourable run assessment\u2026 and the RA awarded the run a magnificent score of 9.9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ramrod<\/strong>\u00a0presented the raffle boot to\u00a0<strong>Phantom<\/strong>\u00a0who drew the winning ticket, won by\u00a0<strong>Elbows<\/strong>\u00a0(not present) so the card drawn by\u00a0<strong>Polly<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; the Queen of Hearts.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner was an excellent sweet and sour pork with fried rice, after dumpling starters no doubt with the assistance of Mrs Grizzly<em>, who surely<\/em> <em>has earned a Gordon Blue nomination! <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Where else would you be on a Monday?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2013 22nd June 2026 Set in Jolimont on a fine winter evening following the Winter Solstice with a moderate turnout of about 25 hashmen.
