Receding Hairline Administration

Each Current and Associate member has a Receding Hairline entry.

Creating and deleting receding hairlines.

When a new Current or Associate member is created or a member is changed to a Current and Associate, a Receding Hairline is automatically  created for them. And when a Current or Associate member is deleted or changed from being to a Current and Associate, their Receding Hairline is automatically deleted for them.

Special receding hairlines.

Additional receding hairlines can be designated by selecting Special on them when they are created manually. These receding hairlines will retain their dates when other hairlines are moved around them. Their run number will be updated unless the number is postfixed with a ".1" notation. The hare for special receding hairlines is set to Committee. 

Public Holidays

Public Holidays can be specified so when the receding hairline is calculating the changes, it will skip over these days if they fall on a Monday. The calculation will continue if the Monday is a holiday, looking for the first day after that is not specified in the holiday list.

Changing the receding hairline.

The receding hairlines are changed from the Receding Hairline Administration page as follows.

• Entries in the receding hairline are moved by selecting the drag icon on the left of the view.
• An entry can be dragged up or down in the list.
• When it's at the required position the drag handle can be release.

When you have finished moving the entries in the receding hairline click on the Save button to make the changes permanent. When the Save button is pressed, calculations are performed on the receding hairline to correctly collate the run numbers and dates, taking in to consideration the specified public holidays and the special hairline entries.  

Creating a Run Direction

In order to create a run direction you must first locate the receding hairline entry it will be created from.

• In the Hash Admin menu click on Receding Hairline menu
• Locate the run and click on it's Create Run select list and change the "No" to "Yes".
• On the bottom of the page click on Save button.

The following changes will happen when a Create Run is set to Yes and the Save button is clicked.

• A run Direction will be created contain all the information from the receding hairline.
• The receding hairline will then be placed at the bottom of the list with it;s run number date changed.
• The exception to this are Special hairlines, which will be changed to the following year.
